Career Development

 

Lubomir Getov worked in Ipoma Plc on the positions of Supervisor Export and Manager Garden Furniture Dept. from 1998 to 2001. The company is a leader in the producing of plastic packages, garden furniture and seats for sport outfits. While Lubomir Getov was part of the Ipoma team he used to develop new markets on the territory of Ukraine, Macedonia, Georgia and Bosnia.

 

In 2001 Lubomir Getov was invited to hold the post of Sales and Marketing Manager of Jimmy’s. The company manages chain of ice cream outlets, which number increase from 3 to 18 for the period of six years, from 2001 to 2007. Jimmy’s is a definite leader among the chains in Sofia, without any direct rivals.  In this period of time the main priorities of the company are related with the building of trade procedures and standardizing the service in the outlets. Active promotion policy was initiated and for one calendar year over 20 different promotions were made. A lot of trainings were lead for the fast growing staff members, their   purposes were to keep a high standard of service and to reach the planed development of the company.  During this period were realized many co projects with companies as Pepsi, Kraft, Nestle, Douwe Egberts, etc.  Jimmy’s becomes an extremely desired partner in the imposing of new brands and tendencies on the market of FMCG. Thanks to the inquiries made among clients of the outlets, sales and marketing team has the possibility to create right trade policy and to take adequate decisions for the brand Jimmy’s as well as for the integration of other brands. On the base of these surveys the decision for starting Panini project is taken. This   project is about implementing salty dishes /salads, sandwiches, etc./  in the ice cream outlets. After the successful beginning new outlets are branded as Jimmy’s & Panini. As a consequence of the achievements of the company in the sphere of service, quality of products and very good reputation in 2007 Jimmy’s won and realized project for opening of 58 new food corners in the Shell gas stations, by the name of JIMMY’S TO GO. From the beginning of 2006 started the production of high quality ice cream for the mass market. Three new brands were presented- ZigZag, Jimmy’s Gold и Jimmy’s Platinum. A big PR and advertisement campaign was made. In Lubomir Getov’s capacity of Marketing Manager he was totally in charge of brand building, media planning and negotiations with advertisement agencies and media shops. As a key figure in the company he was leading the negotiations with bigger chain suppliers, creating and developing the trade structure. Lubomir Getov built successful partnerships with most of the big chains of stores as Metro, Billa, Kaufland, etc. He established long-lasting and useful collaboration with international companies as Nestle, Carlsberg, Kraft, Motorola, Plesio, etc.

 

After quitting his post in Jimmy’s,  Lubomir Getov started working as a Sales Director- Traditional Chanel in Chipita BG. The company is a leader on the market of long shelf croissants and snacks. In his capacity of Sales director main responsibilities of Lubomir Getov and realized projects are related with implementing the trade policy of the firm and managing sales structure of the company, which is working with 70 distribution firms.

 

From the beginning of 2008 Lubomir Getov takes the management of newly created company Prime Brands. Its primary activity is in the sphere of food distribution and import of packaged goods. While Lubomir Getov was running the company he created and developed successful and motivated sales team. Offices were found in different cities /Sofia, Stara Zagora, Pleven, Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo/. The company was imposed as a main distributor of leading brands, such as- Chio chips, Chipi chips, &Days, Bake Rolls. There were built beneficial partnerships with- Ital Food, Storko, Adela and Ideal Product. Projects for importing of different foreign brands were developed-  Portioli  /Italian espresso/, English Garden /tea/, Colombian Garden /instant coffee/, Cadbury /Halls, Trident/.

 

At the end of 2009 Lubomir Getov founds his own company, named Another Point Advisers. It is a company for consultancy business in the field of marketing and trade with FMCG. The firm is also focused on developing marketing strategies for market penetration in Bulgaria, as well as in Ukraine and also in Serbia, Macedonia and Bosnia. Another Point Advisers is chosen as a key partner to one of the leaders in printing- Nova Print Jsc.

 

Since April 2010 Lubomir Getov hold the position of National Manager of Levi's BG. Since that the chain of outlets was completely restructured. New stores were opened in major trade centers as- Serdika, The Mall, Mall Varna and Burgas Plaza. The brand Levi's returned its popularity, thanks to the successful marketing campaign. Useful partnerships with Jack Daniel's and RIU Pravets were established. The brand also supports the famous rock band FSB, as well as partnering with Gramofon /Bulgarian band/ and pop singers Lillana&Skiller. At the end of 2011 billboard campaign on the territory of Sofia was made. The upcoming projects about the brand development in Bulgaria, includes continuing of the approved partnerships, as well as creating of new channels for brand popularization, and also opening of new stores.
